    Went to a charity track event today, the idea being to take terminally ill kids for a few slowish laps around the track. There are usually a wide variety of cars and today there was a Countach, these are very rare down here, I had only ever seen one other before and that was an epic experience fit for another thread.

    Suffice to say I hadnt seen a Countach for probably 7 years and and wow seeing this one today its just as jaw droppingly dramatic as it always has been, time has done nothing to diminish the sheer impact of this outrageous shape. Of course hearing that V12 engine was pretty special too.

    did it do some laps, and if so, was it all out high speed with serious cornering action? cool

    That car must be from Paarl & Franschhoek area. I believe there is a white one in the Eastern Cape.

    Correct it is from that area. There is also another red Countach in Cape Town. This one did a fair number of laps, wasnt high speed but it did sound great down the straights and the sight of the car made the Murcielago that was also present seem rather undramatic.

    I havent yet seen that one but I know there is a red 5000 QV....
