Very nice Simon. Were you able to find bushings to fit all the heim joints? Just curious how many of the heim joints utilize that Lemforder bushing? Where did you get them and how much are they? Seems like pressing in a new bushing is a more cost effective than buying an entire joint.

They are just Alfa bushes only fit the lower front wishbones, not expensive and easy to push into the housings.

  5. Just the lower front. None on the rear suspension. There is a noticeable diameter difference between them.

Oh OK, understand. Yeah, I knew about the Alfa bush for the front lower, its just in your photo it looked like that was a smaller heim joint and I thought maybe someone had found a bushing that would work in all of the rear suspension heim joints. :)

    Thanks again,
    Mike

A few bits started arriving back this week, so have new harness from Autosparks, and some of the trim, gone for a slightly brighter shade of red for the re-trim. Will be getting the hubs back together this week-end and getting all of the parts ready for plating next week. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Should fit every car fitted with ATE brakes with 300x32 discs.

  16. Wow, nice work! Please list the part numbers or order info to the brake conversion for anyone else that might be contemplating a brake upgrade.

Will do, calipers on order and drawings for the adaptors should be in place next week. Guess mid to late Jan we should be good to go with a complete conversion, a complete kit will be in the order of about £750-800 to take standard front discs and will be a complete bolt on solution.

I'd love to hear how the new brakes work compared to the old ones, once you get every put back together!

Will be using the koni sport ones from a Diablo, they are about £350 each, but are adjustable in rebound

cheers, are you using the same springs?
I have changed my front suspension to koni #### with adjustable bump/rebound* and spring seats, but the firm I was dealing with pulled a disappearing trick before we got the rears sorted.
*from memory I think we hit the far end of the adjustment range and I was told they would need to be revalved.
