    Hi

A friend of mine just spotted this LP400 with this non factory roof and back cover:

I found that this roof is the same that this 1981 LP400 Series 2 listed in lamborghini registry. Seems to be a roots type charger mod.

The car in the lamborghini registry site seems to be the same one in this lambocars article (LP400S with Vortech Charger):

So: The green one my friend spotted, could be the same, only properly restored in a much more proper and period correct BRG, Cream hide and gold rims?

The Swiss registration and the fact that I can't find if there are more Vortech Charger modded ones around could be suggest that...

There is definitely something tall and silver inside the green car's engine bay. Likely an intercooler based off of the black car's pictures.

It's the same car, but the vin in the ILR is wrong, I took all the pictures which are in the registry.
It was long time owned by a friend of mine.

This magnificent Countach is indeed a low-body LP400S with a Turbo, belonging to a good friend of mine.
Actually, I had the great honor to follow the restoration step by step last year until now, as the owner is keeping it very private for the moment.

But the good news is: We are preparing a nicely detailed review about it, soon!
This wonderful 'Verde Abete - Panna' Countach S Turbo has a fantastic history with at least 7 steps of its engine evolving over the years!

Most of us know already about the 2 Turbo Countach from Bobnar / Albert... but that one here is another level. You'll love it! ;)

Victor, this one is charged with a Vortex unit, not Turbo charged!
I had the pleasure to drive it with the former - long time owner.

Originally delivered 30.10.1980 in Bianco/Bianco to Lamborauto, I even know the pictures when it was white.

That's right. It is a Supercharged engine, rather than Turbocharged. I overuse the word Turbo (you know I usually hate that word, as a true Carburetors ethusiast ;) )
