LP400 #1120144 'Rosso Corsa - Bianco' when new at the IAA Frankfurt show in September 1975. And arriving in Japan from Germany in 1977, looking completely different! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello Victor, I have received a copy of a 1976 transport bill. On it the transport of 6 vehicles to the Automobile salon in Paris 1976 is noted. Among other things, the following 3 Lamborghini were brought to the Paris Motor Show 1976. Lamborghini Countach 1120218 Lamborghini Espada 9804 Lamborghini Urraco 20410. I do not know if this information is interesting to you or if you already knew it. Best regards Zdenek
Thank you very much for this great info, Zdenek! I knew LP400 #1120218 was delivered new to the French Lambo dealer Thépenier in October 1976 but I didn't know for sure that car was displayed at the Paris Motor Show. Nice to have the confirmation finally! Here's the car facing a Matra-Simca Bagheera S in a magazine ad. Image Unavailable, Please Login Me too, still looking for a photo of the Lamborghini stand there!

Thank for sharing: is this the No.2 prototype, the actual green one displayed at Lamborghini Museum? Thank you very much ciao
thanks, Raymond. Please help me to understand: That is the first LP400, the first car after the yellow LP500 (the first Countach ever, the one that was destroyed in the crash test), correct? ciao
Thank you very much, Raymond. So, 1120001 was born red with a black interior and then became green with brown interior like in the picture I posted, correct? ciao View attachment 2654417
Fantastic, thanks for sharing. 1121034 which we purchased from the original owner and owned for a while, now in the Netherlands I believe, we still have the iconic FLIES LO plate in the family though View attachment 2654424

does anyone here has some more pictures of the special early interior that 1120001 had when the car was completed as a prototype? I mean the one showed in my post 437 Thank you very much ciao
Ok: Nobody knows more about the 1120001 interiors. Did anyone already post here this last year picture? ciao View attachment 2654496
this is a vintage replica... Should be like the old one but no interiors and mechanics. More than a replica, It's a reproduction ciao
The interior of 1120001 has been posted in the main Countach thread multiple times showing it in all three (3) stages, I recommend you look in that thread. Stage 1 was when the car was red and the interior was trimmed in black suede or Alcantara. Stage 2 was when the car was painted green and the interior was trimmed dark brown leather (see image below). Stage 3 is the present arrangement where the interior was trimmed production-color Tabacco with the original space-age padded seats replaced with production items. See the image below which shows 1120001 with it's interior in it's 2nd stage. We know all about 1120001's interiors, as explained above. Yes, this image has been posted, and the model car has been much-discussed, also in the main Countach thread. Sorry, it is not vintage or a replica, nor is it a reproduction, it is simply a full-scale model, although arguably a very nice one, but no more or less, replicas by definition are automotive copies that can be driven on the road, the same with reproductions.
