This screenshot is taken from an Italian TV program on Nuccio Bertone. Apparently, it is a video showing a model of the LP500 being made at Bertone. If anyone knows more about it, it is more than welcome! From 2:24 to 2:29: Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, this car in the recent video is 1120176, similarly gorgeous in Oro Longchamps Metalizzatto https://www.schaltkulisse.de/en/car/lamborghini-countach-lp400/ The fabulous car you are thinking of is 1120032, specified at new by it's VIP owner, a man of impeccable taste, in Oro Rolls Royce (imagine a matching Rolls Royce Corniche in the garage) with Bianco leather. Here below is the car when new in Japan, yes indeed once a contender for the most gorgeous Countach ever made, but sadly the car is reported as now being red! I am looking for every photo of 1120220 that I can possibly find. If you have any photos of the car, old and new, please reply to this post and send them. I would be eternally grateful. Thank you!
Not sure if this has been seen before. Can only assume it’s had an engine swap to a Mercedes V8, I read once Tina Turner had an LM002 that had a Mercedes engine swap. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That would be a difficult swap. The differential, trans & engine sump, would be a big obstacle. About the only way I can think of that it could work would be with a Porsche 914 transaxle or Pantera ZF transaxle.
It's been posted. It retained it's Lamborghini Countach LP400 V12 engine as confirmed by a period magazine article which also referred to it as a "Pseudo-Mercedes". This was a weird creation by a Berlin-based firm Lenz Power, they went as far as tagging it the C111, perhaps inspired by the original 1969 Mercedes C111, a bizarre publicity stunt. By the way Tina Turner did indeed replace the engine in her LM002 with a Mercedes Benz unit, file images exist which I've seen. What I do find interesting about this LP400 is it appears to be a very early production example as the seats with inserts flowing all the way up to the headrests and the front fender turn-signal light placement suggests. Here it is when nearly new, note the clear turn-signal lenses, the painted door mirror, and most importantly the dark blue fabric seat inserts, this being one of four LP400 known to us with this seat treatment, cool period details we thought it was worth completing to make it's epic restoration truly complete. Another LP400 (Speciale) in this case 0222 built around the same time had the same fabric seat inserts. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a few other photos of the car that might suggest that it came with a right side mirror. Do you think that would be possible?
This photo is an example of what I think is 1120220 but in this photo it seems to have a right side mirror Image Unavailable, Please Login
however, it seems that there might be a blue wing on the rear of this car. If you zoom in on the rear you can see what seems to be the shape of a wing
interesting subject, wich Perticular Countach is our Personal favorit ?not variant or model, but The one specific car in our memorie wich we like the most, chime inn.
