    The right rear wheel bearing on my 1979 LP400S S1 Countach is going bad and I am seeking help on obtaining the necessary parts and tips on replacement.

    PARTS:
    In reviewing my parts catalog I believe I need the following parts:
    8503507 (1)
    8524502 (1)
    8516003 (2)
    8614506 (2)
    5109529 (10)
    What else?
    Where can I buy these parts at a reasonable price?

    TOOL:
    I need a tool for the nut, part # 8252803. Where can I get this item?

    HELP:
    My shocks are fine but the bushings (probably part #5109529?) are shot and rattle
    when going over bumps. Can these bushings be pressed into my existing shocks?

    Why would I need 10 of 5109529??

    What other issues should I be aware of when replacing the two wheel rear bearings? If you offer suggestions, please make them simple!

    I know that many attempts were done to find a cheap replacement for these ball joints, but at the end i bought them at the factory spare part service: you can find the straight balljoints, but the angled ones are unfindable and i know of some very bad ending attempts.

    Wil Degroot replaced my wheel bearings. Was not a problem locating (that's when you are able to give exact sizing).
    Chad Bolles has both a ring nut socket and a ring nut wrench available.

    David, IF you have a LP400S, then you have looked up the WRONG part numbers for what you need. The LP400S rear suspension is different from the LP400 car.
    Like I said email me and I will give you the correct numbers.
