Just reading the names on the poster bring a mood of sadness.
Would like to know where it ended up... By chance do you know the VIN? VIN must start with DLA12xx if its a 1983.
I haven't confirmed which one his is, but it could be one of at least three different Nero/Rosso LP500S that came to the USA in the early 80s We have a LP400 vintage photos thread, this image of 1120280 was taken in contemporary times, as you can see this thread started with and contains a lot of LP400 content, I try to post LP400 vintage photos in the other thread whenever possible
1121316, a fully-restored Countachwhich we imported into the USA for a client, it subsequently went to auction a few years later and realized $962,500 https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/ny15/auction/lots/r102-1981-lamborghini-countach-lp400-s-series-iii-by-bertone
Yes, original livery. I flew Maestro Vale to the country where it was resident in northern Europe to check it out and tell me if everything was in order prior to purchase. He made a list for us, but it was very short. Thank you. The LP400S S3 was the first variant of Mimran's Nuova Automobili Lamborghini tenure, significant because it was a Countach with adequate ground-clearance and cockpit space, and it became the platform for the 5-liter Countach that took a decade to become a production reality Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Car is fantastic , would this be the Swedish car?also there was a red and a white car in the same colection? (Italian flag)
Doing this from memory, the car was new to a Sheikh in the Middle East > France > Italy > Sweden > USA.
I think you mean tires, but now that the new Pirelli Cinturato P7s are with us, there's no excuse not to have a matching set of 4.
Fantastic color !! Suspension needs height adjustment IMO ? Wheels look great as the casting irregularities in the small circles have been hand sanded smooth as I have done on several cars, not original but looks better.
