    As mentioned in the Miura section I visited a car show in Düsseldorf, Germany about car design in 1950-70s. This black Countach 5000S with red interior was displayed. Sorry for the lousy pics coming from my iPhone...

    The search came back to a 4.5L Fiat Ducato registered in August 1983 (lol, Ducato van had a 1.5l engine)... and the vin was not a Lamborghini Vin. I think some sneaky paperwork was done to bring it into war torn Lebanon?

    I think it is CLA12514 which is a car painted purple in 1997 and recently white on orange and lives in the Netherlands.

    Perhaps the only person getting their feelings hurt here is you, that's why you care at all that you were banned from the Downdraft thread, which happened not because anyone is important but because you were disruptive and off-topic, this as decided entirely by the Mods.

    That said, as far as I'm concerned, welcome back!

    And yes, those images are great, my wife wanted a blank-canvas look, so the white walls of the warehouse served as an ideal backdrop.

    Walter, this Countach is in fact a Downdraft, same as the variant you drove for us on the Autobahn from Movendi.

    personally i love this S3 in black

    my personal fav. are still the S1 and S2, with the lowbody and flares they are hard to better...add the bravos and you have perfection

    A nice S3 is still a great looking car, rare, 4 liter engine with carbs and you can fit a tall driver no problem ;)

    i wonder what happened to this car ...
    i remember an other 5000S car with same interior and gold wheels in red - also with racing belts (Britax Sabelt or Sabelt Sabelt)

    Far from being good is the state of most Countach... "Far from good, but good from afar" Thankfully, there are a number of enthusiasts and restorers who are slowly rectifying the situation :)

    thank you, Ken

    we spent a lot of time with the interior and bodyshop guys to find the right color combination
    as well as choosing the details
    but the final result is well worth the effort imo
