The double wing white Countach in the video... Emilio... is this your car? https://www.lp112.com/Lamborghini/Detail.asp?Model=Countach&Version=LP400+S&ChassisNumber=1121458 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
BTW: I've never seen this car in original color according to the production list, the oldest picture known is from 1984 and there it was already red.
Ah what a beauty! I've seen that car on YouTube, some people chasing it in traffic with cameras. Stunning. How long have you had it for?
Just saw this Countach model on top of a garage in a remote part of Switzerland! View attachment 2654256
Thanks! The YouTube video is previous owner, who is also on here from time to time. I’ve had it since late 2013. View attachment 2654259
Harry put together a very nice 2018 year end summary of his cars. Love his “1 in, 1 out” philosophy. Talks about his Countach and work done on it: Mike
Yes, I still drop in occasionally (pining for the S2, and the Silhouette...) The YouTube videos show what happens when you try to drive a Countach through central London. The driving part isn't actually that hard (apart from steering effort when parking) but the level of attention it attracts from pedestrians is remarkable. I had only recently bought the car, so all of my own attention was focused on driving! In the interests of nostalgia, here's another of my favourite photos from my period of ownership, taken at Silverstone: View attachment 2654280 Enjoy! Jonathan
https://www.classicdriver.com/de/car/lamborghini/countach/1976/613673 Great car with still original leather. Very nice vintage photos in the advertisement. A friend, member on this board as well, pointed me to this one. 1120238. Today painted black. One of two originally built in Viola / Bianco. Worth thinking about it, in case someone is interested in a LP400.
I think that the car would look very nice if repainted in the original colour but without the white accents. Nice colour or not, this car seems to be a good basis to start an adventure with a LP400.
