I think this is DLA12576 https://www.lp112.com/Lamborghini/Detail.asp?Model=Countach&Version=LP500+S&ChassisNumber=ZA9C00500DLA12576 Does anybody have Infos about DLA12575?
Robert pointed out the correct chassis number on December 9th 2018 https://lamborghinichat.com/forum/posts/146342197/ and I acknowledged the same day with "Sorry my mistake for the typo". Interestingly, although I've known this car personally since it's days in the UK when it was it's one-off peach color, I pulled the chassis number from the same very useful LP112 site you quote because I couldn't remember it offhand, and I still got it wrong!
No worry, since DLA12575 was delivered to Switzerland I found your post and haven't remarked Rob's comment just below.
Agreed but 1120030 has the much more interesting livery and is an early 1974 car. And it has the original radio and the original vents on the center console, still today. Both cars were interesting back then.
Please understand that detailed infos about the LP400 were not available in the late 90s. And they could not prove that the car really belonged to W.W. Furthermore, the leather was not nice and its color had been faded on the driver`s side. The engine compartment looked also not nice. It clearly had a sale-paint-job when I saw it. I always loved silver on a Countach - but the red car was much better at that time.
Engine 1120001, first LP400 engine ever: a lot of magnesium alloy there. Picture Copyright: me ciao View attachment 2654502 View attachment 2654503 View attachment 2654504
