    Octane magazine is simply the best for our classic Supercars, we have enjoyed causing 4 different cover stories over the years to great post-publication response, meanwhile the new issue features Harry Metcalfe in Simon Kidston's Viola 1120248

    These were some of the very first LP400s, taken by Neil Campbell in early May 1978, I suppose 1121016 and 1121020 (in the middle). In front the red cars could be 12,14 or 18.
    From May till October (1022) no LP400s was consigned for 5 month! One of the reasons why it's believed that 1030 was built using a LP400 spare Chassis -that time the factory simply had no money to build the cars.

    1120248 in Italy, I believe the earlier 1120238 in the USA (new to a Middle East Royal family) will also go back to it's original Viola/Bianco livery in the future
