NOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!
Meanwhile CLA12497 was found in the Netherlands, hard to believe that so many LP400, 400s and QV's are known but the LP500s production is like a black hole.
joe - this car sold in august of 2007, at the very top before the crisis. if you take that sale price what is change in value (use whatever price estimate you feel is fair for today)? so for the sp500 we were at 1519 in august 2007 and today its 3093, so up just over 100%.
We sold the award-winning LP400 1120136 from California on August the 15th 2007 to our client Jurgen W in Germany & the UK to join a stable of Italian cars including a pair of Miuras, he still owns the car and enjoys it regularly. Bearing in mind that our business model is Private Treaty and given that JW is particularly private, the exact terms of that sale will never be disclosed, that said I can say that this Countach's current valuation easily exceeds 100% increase in the price he paid in 2007. It looks unlikely that this Countach will ever be resold in JW's lifetime. Here is 1120136 being enjoyed in recent times in both Germany & the UK Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
correct please note the color changes A LOT depending on light, background AND, as Victor said, the effects all the people put on pics today with instagram, photoshop, etc... the color is super nice in person and i think if one day we will see 1121124 or one other LP400S back to original verde abete, is also tks to the many photos of this car on line today.
It’s all in the skills of the installer. The kit has not been properly designed to cool the intake charge. I’d rather want this project to be further developed with stock LP400S look (incl. engine cover), but retain a reliable power-adder system. A more powerful car is always a more capable car, but drivability/linear behavior is the key.
Agreed on returning the engine cover to standard, but more power does not mean a better handling or capable car per se IMO, it may mean better acceleration and higher speed, just get a Downdraft if you want that, the LP400S is a beautiful thing in it's own right to be enjoyed the way it was designed and best developed by the factory's engineers, too special to be messed with IMO. I'd basically delete all the non-factory doo-dads.
This one might be a repost, but just incase. Nice pic quality compared to many of the factory photos. 1988.5. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice LHD 5000S for sale in UK.....is really the 1982 Geneva Motor Show car ? http://www.simonfurlonger.co.uk/cars/show.php?id=1189&p=50&page=1&srt=price%20DESC
The text looks like a wild mixture of several cars, we know that the US prototype is the silver car. The first and second paragraph do not match at all... Furthermore is the displacement wrong, the LP5000s has a 4,7l engine not a 5,2l (QV). If this car is the Geneva show car ? Might be, but since nothing is disclosed it cannot be verified.

Only parts need to repair where a front right hand side wing flare and a front right hand side undertray.
