Looks like Oro Sahara (#1120278)! Can you confirm @Victor? Maybe the light of the photos just confuse my intension.
It is #1120204, Giallo Fly - Tabacco. Restoration started in 2017 by Polo Storico. About time we see this beauty coming to a new life! Without willing to be too political, there's another LP400 Giallo Fly - Tabacco that's coming to completion... We will see the two cars ready at the same time this coming summer. One is restored by the officials, the other by a 100% Countach fanatic and his network. It might be interesting to play the 7 errors game with them! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can tell you that this car at Cairati is very high quality and just beautiful. The body lines are perfect. That being said, remember that ultimately it is the owner who makes final decisions on replacement of certain parts, whether NOS or not, etc., depending on cost, desire or availability. So, if something is not quite correct on a completed car it does NOT mean that the shop necessarily wanted it so. Sometimes there are other reasons, if that makes sense.
Looks like non-metallic Giallo to me. To be constructive & helpful to the benefit of all, who is this 100% Countach fanatic and his network in case someone wants another restoration option? Meanwhile when you say restored by the officials, I think you mean Polo Storico who have used a number of different shops in the past, the best of which is finally Cairati, so something tells me there that perhaps there will be few errors if any with the ex-Adnan Khassoggi 1120204. Makes perfect sense, meanwhile without diminishing the work of anyone else, I can say that Cairati's work is of an extremely high standard.

I'm not sure I've posted these particular images I just came across - here's 1121316 in August of 2014 fresh off the plane from LAX after being imported into the USA Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The client did attend one of my Countach Sunday lunch events. But as thr weather was not 100%, he did not bring the car. Which is a pity. I don't believe he owns it any more. R
A special thx to Mr. Bolles for excepting our offer for these wonderfull Koni shocks, date stamped 1974. They will tie in nicely on our S1 build. In addition paying tribute to one of several mods done by Wolf's vision of what the Countach should be through his ownerships of the early LP400. Preserving a S1 Countach is special, extra special to add a little evolution history to the car at the same time.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car looks as new. It may be a shadow or is this a dent behind the vent? Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's probably a shadow or perhaps even an optical illusion, but not a dent. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Keeping with the S1 theme, here's our 1121034 in front of the house @ 17 years ago with FLIES LO plates which we still have, note this is the only LP400S S1 I've seen with roof vents (5 each side), a very cool detail many don't notice Image Unavailable, Please Login
