    LOL, true.

I doubt that as I haven't seen any of their incredible collection of cars on the net, they are extremely private.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, I'm happy to share the only Countach which the factory finished in Bordeaux Speciale, and it appears to be on the net as you say https://www.instagram.com/p/B0TSdBFFVyi/ & https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/bordeauxspeciale/?hl=en

That said, whereas a presence on Instagram is in my case an economic necessity for business, I'm much more excited by a more tangible recording of these special cars in the form of magazine articles & books to preserve them for posterity and be able to hand down to our kids & grandchildren, and because print publications are a dying medium they have become valuable & collectible.

A colleague has seen the stunningly original Giallo Fly/Nero LP500S CLA12477 in Northern Spain, this is a 100% original car, except the wing, which was added later, one of many cars which prove that many more Countachs have wings than left the factory with them.

As Raymond says, this is the 6th production LP500S and the very first Countach to actually wear the "5000" rear emblem, a big deal as the Countach was originally intended to be a 5 liter sports car, it took till Mimran's Nuova Automobili Lamborghini for this to happen in 1982.

    Thanks, much appreciated.
Yes, still the same since 12 years, just the stable changes, bought a R8 V10 yesterday.
Signs (v10, audi, r8 logo) must be removed then it's optically perfect (for me), although I don't like red cars - exchanged the red Audi S2 against this red R8.

I regret to inform the community that David Anderson the former longterm owner of Countach S1 1094 has passed away on February 1st.

What can I say? A super cool guy he loved Countachs, and he posted in this very thread.

For nearly half a century David Anderson led a revolution in the way that wildlife professionals conduct science and management. His innovative contributions were simply enormous. He was also a really good guy and lots of fun to be around. Quick memory from a parking lot outside an English pub in 1997 (see EURING 1997 photo): David walked over to a Lotus automobile, studied it for a few seconds, shook his head and said "piece of junk". Spoken like a true Lamborghini owner. When speaking with David, you never had to wonder what he was really thinking. His passing is such a loss - he'll be greatly missed.

The good news is David's beloved 1094 is safe in the hand's of perhaps the world's most prominent Countach Connoisseur.

RIP David, and say hello to The Great Engineer in The Sky who goes by the name of Ferruccio, you'll know him when you run into him, he'll be the one telling people his factory built the legendary Miura.

Again I regret to inform the community that Dennis Fugnetti the longterm owner of Countach S1 1052 has also passed away recently as told me by his daughter.

Another super cool guy, he used it often here in California including several trips to my house with it, I gave him my own moniker, Dennis The Menace.

He loved surfing and driving his Countach, and his images are world renowned.

RIP Dennis, meanwhile go drive your Countach in these guys honor, I will definitely be doing that this weekend.

Well said Joe! Dave was a fantastic guy, passionate about the Countach S1 and was not shy about driving his car! He will be missed for sure.

David Anderson. Met up with him twice. Helped him with a few things. A friend. Take care David, we'll talk on the other side.

This is actually a Bianco/Bianco LP400S S2 delivered on the 30th of October 1980 via Lamborauto, if my records are correct.

Given these supplementary gauges I take it that this Countach still has it's Vortech-supercharged engine unit then, perhaps others can comment but I recall that over the years the car and it's unit have been through a number of guises http://www.lambocars.com/countach/countach_lp400_s_with_vortech_charger.html & https://www.facebook.com/pg/kldconcept/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10152859212832483 which begs the obvious thought given today's values, perhaps one day this car will go back to being the non-supercharged beautiful Bianco LP400S S2 Lowbody it originally was.
