You gotta move. You got to exercise your respiratory system. Keep it pumping. Very important.

I need some help please. I’m needing to acquire these owners manuals - alpine stereo 7148L and speakers 6240. These were standard on many 5000S’s and 85, and some 86 QV downdrafts. if you have them and would be willing to sell, I’m confident we can work something out. Though my stereo and speakers work fine, I’d be willing to buy another stereo and speakers if they came with the manuals. Please contact me if you can help. Thank you.

Very nice piece. What has become of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s Countach? Does anyone know where it is and who owns it?

Thought this might be appropriate for the thread: Harry Metcalfe explains that he basically traded in his Zonda for his Countach at the beginning of his Q&A. Zonda upkeep just became astronomical & it ended up easily allowing the Countach purchase & providing more joy to him. Surprised to hear he only paid 67,000GBP for it 10 years ago.

That was a normal Price at this point in time.
But trading a Zonda for a QV is a good one...

Just seems surreal at their values 10 years later.

    Easy decision!

I love Horacio Pagani the man, I've met him, and I admire & respect his work.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but personally I have never once desired to own a Zonda, not then, not now, and surely not ever, just not my cup of tea.

I don't think it helps that the factory has actively taken older Zondas & allowed the new owners to "upgrade" them so that they all now have the same "Cinque" bodywork with different details & finishes. I saw a Zonda F CS Roadster (#24) up for sale recently; it was apparently one of the last few remaining, all-original examples out of 25 units. Sad, imo.

This trend towards taking classic supercars and resto-modding them to different spec & colors them does not bode well for the value of those cars relative to the ones kept in original spec & color.

Just go to the general section & not a specific thread, then, up on the right hand side, up top, select Start Thread.

Pretty neat site. This setting in this picture reminded me of something off of Mad Men.

5000S #ELA12731 was ordered by the Royal Family of Bahrain.
Built in June 1984, "Nero - Panna con filetti neri" with gold wheels.
Here it is in its original guise, I believe?

Here is the interview the french written article seems to be based on. Italian language video, subtitles in English (or italian). By the way, I suggest taking a look at Davide Cironi's other videos. He's interviewed a large number of the Lamborghini historical heavy hitters. He's got some truly fascinating interviews.

    Enjoy!

    Ali e onde
    (wings and waves)

The Signor Governi, who lived between Bologna and Ravenna, had owned (at least) 3 Countach:
    LP400 #1120098 in 1975
    LP400S #1121022 in 1978
    5000QV #FLA12862 in 1985

But these were not "just any Countach"...
They were ordered with something special:
All of them were equipped with... TV!
    Si! La televisione, ragazze!

You can see they all received a TV antenna matching its generation. But that's not all.
The yellow LP400 is the only periscope-delete, flat roof, of the production (to accommodate the antenna).
The red LP400S also had a rare 1978 type wing (Wolf-Dallara type).
And the white QV was actually delivered "raw" and painted by the dealer Emilianauto in Bologna: 'Bianco Perlato' with 'Bianco-Turchese' interior, USA spec and side skirt for the exterior... but downdraft engine of course. Plus all the electronic equipment!

    La digitale dolce vita!

Unfortunately I can't verify it, but it's very similar to this one, right?
