Looks like they went to the Goodyear test track
Here's another Monaco F1 Grand Prix Countach Pace Car image, this is 1981, the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing of Jean-Claude Mimran, the Rame Colorado Metallizzato Countach LP400S S2 1121312 of Patrick Mimran (note the door panel style of 1121312, same as J-C Mimran's 1121314), with 1121244 in the background. Contemporary art or automobile icon? This was taken in the underground parking of Schloss Bensberg a few years ago. Before the recent restoration. I don’t know why the headlights appear tinted. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Fantastic initiative for the 50th! Will be amazing. Hopefully you'll post tons of pictures for those of us who can't be in the US! By the way, is your artwork from Guy Allen? It looks incredible.
Some finishing touches are still left, such as the "Countach" script on the rear and the filling of a radio-antenna hole. So almost finished
Monaco Historics race weekend and he's out in it again. This is the low-mileage 1121098 which was purchased for over $1m at auction, causing some to predict that it would therefore never be driven, it turns out its one of the most regularly seen Countachs in Monaco, love this guy. Maybe a repost, but I stumbled across this picture of 1120001 in its red guise and just noticed that it has the single wiper, and apparently two marks of filler where the old double wiper system was. I had never noticed it before. Image Unavailable, Please Login
We commented on this earlier in the thread, cool twin-wiper heritage, also note lack of turn-signal light on the fender. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Surprised to come across these pictures by Kevinvanc on Instagram. I was unaware of a second black U.S. spec front wing Countach. I knew of the red, white and of course the Cannonball car. Is this a true period U.S. conversion car or a recreation? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
To me, the 5000S represents the sweet spot of the Countach range. A nice bump in power, some refinements in the engineering, along with some styling updates but keeping that beautiful original engine cover.
