Another barn find, possibly in Connecticut. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some sort of fuel injection system. If you look at the table in front of the car, there is what appears to be an original air cleaner.
Looks to me like another butchered car made by Karl Ruf in Switzerland, he modified a number of carbed cars in order to get them exported to US. Since the engine and luggage hood are off, any posibility to read/check the VIN?
Correct, not barn finds at all but need TLC. Here the white one is shown and the other mentioned 10 Coolest Cars In Danny Koker's Garage (hotcars.com) Here are both shown: Vegas Car Collections – Count’s Kustoms & Celebrity Cars – Jesus Behind the Wheel
I think this picture of WW is unknwon yet 1977 Monaco GP MONTE CARLO, MONACO MAY 22 Walter Wolf with his custom Lamborghini Countach during (imago-images.de)
Not a barn find, more of an abandoned in an outhouse garage find. The sheer number of butchered Countachs over the years beggars belief, this is why a pristine Countach is a very valuable thing. I posted the original of that image @ a year ago along with several images of Walter Wolf's F1 cars in the race that year.
In order to wipe the tears away from our eyes I will post some images of a nice Countach. Not many people know that 1121374 was flown by Automonbili Lamborghini SpA to Los Angeles via LAX on the 10th of October 1981 for a VIP client and has lived in the USA ever since. Not a big fan of black on a Countach, but this car ,with its pure white interior, is absolutely spot on.as pure and simple as it gets. This combo just works brilliantly, poss even better in the flesh getting the slight green reflection from the glass.
The Only future for this car ,and its owner, is to start searching for original parts in order to return this Countach back to its original glory.
The car is utterly stunning in person, unfortunately the format on this site degrades images so there is no way the items we are posting do the car full justice, the images on Instagram are a bit better https://www.instagram.com/p/CZsOi_2BiCU/
Easily. Having also sold and been involved with the green LP400S S3 1121316 that won the Countach Class at Pebble Beach, I will say that LP400S S3 1121374 is superior to that car in most ways, and unlike 1316, our soon-to-be-auctioned 1374 even has the correct window cranks!

Your thread on the car. https://lamborghinichat.com/forum/threads/lp400-s3-1121374-nut-and-bolt-restoration.509160/
These amateur conversions resulted in the slowest Countachs, the least reliable, with the least attractive engine bays. The automotive vandalism bestowed upon these cars created a rat's-nest of wires & pipes, randomly-fitted components combined with poor application, how it all stayed together without overheating, failing or just or catching fire is beyond me. The only good news here is that for a price, everything can be disassembled, the modification components thrown away, and the car returned back to standard carbureted guise, thankfully we're in an era where this is being done more & more, and these butchered cars are being rescued one by one. Good news that it has been rescued.
