Not the best pics but it's the rectangular central A/C vent. The 25th one has a slider across the top to control the side to side motion. Would be a shame to put 25th vents on a QV, but is also a shame to have just a gaping hole in the dash. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
QVs from Jan 87 had the 25th style vents, but they just look bigger to me - and yours had the different style of center console from the 87 QV also (I guess that's what you mean it was the prototype for?).
You are most likely looking for the early one which is similar to LP500s not the QV style of MY1987 onwards. http://www.countach.ch/Dashboard/index.html http://www.countach.ch/leather.html
Yeah - I'm looking for the older ones and they're practically impossible to find. Similar to but not the same as the 500s once. Specific to the QV it seems.
In a stroke of luck I think I found it - found 2 on ebay with photos that confirmed they looked identical from all angles! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looking through some old photos I have and I found ‘this’, probably taken in the early 90’s. I’m not a fan of it but is this actually a real Countach? Will delete if not. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Another picture from my archives, this one taken by my dear friend Marcel de Lange (RIP) September 1988, ILOC meeting at Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg. My dear friend Jeroen is taking a picture of the Tahiti Blue LP400 S. Fantastic period shot! For all Countach lovers, please check out my website www.countach-register.com You will be amazed! Ciao! Shame they haven't restored it back to the original red it was when Bob Wallace was using it as a test car
Hello everyone! This is my first time posting. I've been a Countach fan for many years. Ever since I found this community, I've been looking at past posts over the years. It is wonderful. I was able to gain a lot of knowledge. I hope it continues forever. This is a photo from the special issue of COUNTACH LEGENDS of the Japanese car magazine "Tipo". This is what I got from the internet. Konnichiwa, Yamaguchi-san! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu. Youkoso! Are there many RHD Countachs in Japan? Cheers Patrick
Hello Patrick-san I don't know exactly how many RHD in Japan. I've seen one myself. From many sites about countach and this community, I think it's probably 1120264 2012.March 4th@auto galleria LUCE Aichi pref. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I do not know. The former importer's sticker SSSA (Sea Side Sports Association) was pasted on the rear.
