    I am getting so excited...mine is down to complete bare skin right now....got all the interior re-done...WAS even able to find the same mouse hair stock, wow I was lucky...when this body is doen it will be the straightest LP400 on the planet

    It WILL be done for 2008 Concourso Monterrey.. YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    My favorite part of the Countach Reunion thread were the in-progress pics of the "sympathetic restoration" on Joe's Black LP400... ok, that and the saga of LP400S #036...

    Obviously that car ran too lean, too hot plug or too advanced timing, nothing to do with the rpm's per se.

    I've read somewhere that the green #1 is running again, can anybody confirm?
    IME the green one can be left like it is, it's 35 years old and is allowed to keep it's patina.

    It was running too lean with other issues too... but rpms were high when it happened. How high?

    When it's running lean it doesn't need that much rpm to melt the piston...
