Anyone with input on the chassis number of this LP400 Id be happy to hear... TIA Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes. Gary Hall told me in person that when he owned 1120300 (sold to him as a "new" car in 1978 by Steve Dypvik, also confirmed to me in person by Steve), Alpine asked to use it for this poster. He recalls the shoot, and said to me that he received a copy of the poster from Alpine, which he then framed and hung in his office. In fact, he says that other than the images he gave to me to post on ILR, the only nice image of 1120300 that remains in his possession is this Alpine poster. Gary sold 1120300 and it remains in Hawaii with a collector.
Do you happen to know which island it is on? A friend of mine on Oahu (knows just a little about these cars) thinks he may have seen it at one point.
2 beauties at a Concours in Antwerp (Belgium) this afternoon, a yellow LP400S2 and a red 5000S QV Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, the VDV Grant Countach has a cream interior, this one has a black interior. I believe it's a 1986 car, the owner is living in Belgium but the car is licensed in France. I don't know the VIN yet.
The VDV Grant Countach seems like a Garage Queen, at SpaItalia last year the cables to tow were underneath the car. This one was driven to the concours and before it was spotted on the road a few times.
