In all her shiny red glory is the ONLY Countach LP400S Series One with the roof vent detail as depicted in the first image. The car remains 100% original with its first paint, original interior etc. A real twin to Tony's 1121036... Did I mention that the roof detail is unique to this S1 only? Wow, would love to hear whats on that one. I have the only issue'd LP off of Lamborghini Records, but have never seen that one before I'm sure it sounds alot better than the "music" the Mimran boys put out... hehehe
Thanks Joe My cars twin brother born just before mine. The older brother got the rare roof so they gave mine the rare wing Image Unavailable, Please Login
How old is this video ? I'm pretty sure the red one is back with it's original wheels. Do these guys still own those cars ?
Awesome. How did I miss this video!?!?! Joe, quik question. This may be a long shot....but is that gentleman in the video (with the unfortunate disability) the gent who owns/owned a blue LP400 (possibly the one in the video) and is/was here from Canada? I have mentionned here a couple of times that the only LP400 I EVER spotted here in Toronto was a blue one. And I was once told it was owned by a gentleman who was disabled. This was YEARS ago at Leny's the former and first Lambo importer here.
Yes that is Paul Marshall from Canada, former owner of 1120172, now owned by Ayad Shamas after being comprehensively restored. A hero to many... Joe www.joesackey.com
Man, what are the odds. Thanks. I'll say it again, it's ashame Canada has such a lack of these cars. I am embarassed to say that's the only LP I have ever seen . But it's gorgeous! Thanks for the info Joe.
Don't ask how they badged the VIN onto the cars those days... I always supposed that the few early LP400s with Periscopa roof were the spare chassis they had, you know the 157 LP400 from which only 150 were built... I heard a lot of rumour about what was going on in the factory those days from a swiss dealer who knows the swiss owners of those days. 1030 was delivered like this from the factory, it's in the official registro.
