    Yes, I speak to him on occasion the last time being about a year ago. He has a huge ranch home in British Columbia (and homes in Europe & elsewhere also). He is semi-retired having sold his Walter Wolf Lights cigarette factory in Croatia a few years ago (making another fortune). He still owns a few sportscars:
    - F40
    - Enzo
    - Lamborghini LM002
    - Lamborghini Diablo SE30

    The only car he has ever regretted selling? "My Lamborghini Miura SV..."

    Well, it was intended as an exclusive club, for an exclusive group, of exclusive vintage cars. The VLG (Vintage Lambo Group) here in the states roundly poo-pooed it as being snobbish, costly and elitist, which was a quite accurate description. since the factory doesn't support us with parts, paperwork, and barely acknowledges the existance of the pre-Diablo cars, no one ever joined, although I know there were a few folks that intended to sign up. The strictures put in place, and the costs, and benefits made it a non-starter from the outset.

    also, they ignored the grass-roots efforts of long time owners, clubs, and registrered collectors, and 'went their own way' without acknowledging anyone that has done more for the vintage cars than the factory these past 10 years. In case you hadn't noticed, I'm a bit bitter about the plan, and I wasn't the only one. It died a merciful death.

    Another perfect example of why Lamborghini of the present needs to wake up and smell the coffee... there are other car companies that leave owners of the heritage cars in little doubt that they are valued and catered for.

    Glad you got that fixed Raymond. I hated seeing that happen.... by the way the Countach I was driving that day was acquaplaning in the wet at 120mph..... not very confidence inspiring!!

    On Friday the conditions were really bad that's why I didn't join the tea time and stayed at the hotel instead.

    Are you sure you did 120mph or more 120kmh...
