Joe, I personally know the owner of 1120256, can you tell me anything about the history of the car since I'm still trying to figure out the CT's which were first imported to Switzerland, I know that some car were mentioned in the factory records because Leimer took them to Switzerland (without paying?) and sold them later all over the world.
My notes say it went to France but I dont have record of it going to Voitures Paris Monceau so I think it went there privately. As for Leimer.... Joe www.joesackey.com
Yep, the Shah was not what we call a democratic person nor are the current chief virgin-admirers there! But if his "Royal Highness" had "stolen the money from the Iranian people" , why don`t give them back their cash by taking those "imperialistic" cars to auction in ..let`s say...Switzerland? Just my 2 cent. ....Allah is Great! Ciao! Walter

Dont quote me on this: I think it is called "Champagne", a special-order color that Ive actually seen on a similar-period Espada. Joe www.joesackey.com
sorry, I quoted... but you know "cham" is the base word for "camoflage", and "pagne" means "corroding". So, basically a car painted Champagne means it's just hiding rust.
