I have two period magazines testing top speeds of both and that have CT winning and will post when I get back home.
i have the Testarossa, 512TR and Diablo... no Countach... between the 512TR and the Diablo, the improved model of both the Testarossa and the Countach... the TR is a comfortable ride, fast nice grand touring... my wife love it... the Diablo is monsterous, raw, loud... screaming loud... not to my wife prefer... but park the two next to each others... the Diablo is far more aggressive and sexy in design... Both are great in their own ways,... I am glad I don't have to pick one.

Must have that magazine! Have been trying to read the magazine posted on this thread but my german isnt that good anyone care to translate? Didn't think so As far as I understand the Countach is faster, but we already knew that didn't we.. And the TR was fastest around hochenheim? I belive this could be discussed for ever.. I do need to drive a countach to compare.. It sure is the most brutal machine Love to read more opinions.. Cheers Daniel
Yup... I bought that mag in summer 87 when I was in a holiday in Europe. I didn't understand the language back then... and until now Still the test data is easy to understand
