Priced at $149K the seller is not living in the real world. Car has been sitting somewhere and rotting. They did not specify what if any service has been done.
THere's a 400 mile one around here- saw it in WWoC Ferrari service area- black w/ wing. Smelled musty. Sad.
the fact that it has only 300miles s/b a liability....not asset. as for the min. bid of $149k....i agree w/ bill even if it's in canadian dollars. motorcars international recently sold a stunningly "showroom perfect" pearl white/red with around 1000 miles for slighly less than 100k to one of my dear friend on here...(show yourself _ )
t, that was your car. You did not move fasssst enough ! Don't be afraid of the Countach. Remember t, I trade carzzzzz !!!!!!!!
heeeeeeere.......u r. how is life treating ya, buddy? thot about dropping you a quick PM to check in but life has been a bit too chaotic and work overwhelmed....
Is that Black Horse Motors? Because I was thinking that's where it looked like to me, and I'd seen a white one in the front showroom earlier this year. But, if I remember correctly that one had a wing. Here's that tread: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60088&highlight=black+horse+motors
EXACTLY. That is a project Countach... everything needs to be taken apart and rebuilt, tires and all.
I love this part... "CONSIDERED BY MANY TO BE THE MOST STUNNING AND EXOTIC LOOKING AUTOMOBILE EVER DESIGNED. FOR INSTANCE, A PAGANI, TWO FERRARI F50 AND AN F40 WERE PARKED NEXT TO THE LAMBO. WHEN TWO TEENAGE BOYS WERE ASKED WHAT THEY'RE FAVORITE CAR WAS OUT OF THE GROUP THE RESPONSE WAS UNANIMOUS. THE COUNTACH!" Soo.... this would be the perfect car for a catholic priest? The schoolboys wet dream. Great to know if you are into impressing teenage boys!
Shame there are no pictures of under the car, you would be able to see where it was attached to his wall lol , what a waste of a great car, i wonder if he would accept 100k nz it would need a total rebuild, i think i'm up to it. Regards GraemeS
Are you referring to Black Horse Garage in Bridgeport, conn?? If thats the place can you tell me anything about their service or reputation? I might use them down the road. thanks!!
How are you Tom ? I am delighted that work has kept you busy. That is good. I have been back and forth to southern Mississippi six times (business). It is amazing what I saw firsthand. The coast was destroyed. The real thing, is what it is doing (or had already done) to entire families. Quite a few small companies will never open again. What a mess.
nope... Black On Black/Black Horse located in Los Angeles CA. I get them confused Senna... I was there back in Jan 05, and I understood it to be: B on B was in front for sales, and BHM around back for resto work, and that they were separate entities. Please correct me if Im wrong. My pix from last winter... sorry for the hijack, but Im pretty sure the car is here: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Reminds me of the 1989 Ferrari 328 I saw recently advertised with only 180 miles on the clock, and priced at an equally obscene $87,000. I'd guess it would take at least $15k more for the buyer to get that car running properly.
I looked at this car, it is a legit 300 mile car, the tires have flat spots, and the interior is rather worn for a car with such little mileage, the rubber around the steering is cracked as well as there are alot of paint cracks throughout the car. I thought the car was worth around $65k needing around 20k to get it up to snuff, I know they recently painted the hood and side of the car, and the film on the side skirts was yellowing and peeling off. Other than that it was fine.
