    I never rode a Vespa before- only started riding about 4 years ago, starting on a Ducati Monster, bought a tricked V-Rod and just got a Moto Guzzi Le Mans.
    So, i was totally unprepared for the rush of riding a Vespa, leaning it, dropping a knee, cranking the throttle to the max, and otherwise feeling just like a Euro-dude, cruising thru the towns and villages nearby, thinking Sartre, musing over a Gitane, and women who don't shave their armpits.
    What a blast! I'm gonna let my hair get long and stringy, maybe not wash for a couple days- mutter french phrases about the "new cinema" and look for a non-alcoholic alternative to absinthe. Highly recommended for those who are bored with supercars and performance bikery or are just suffering from the ennui of existential existence.
    Truth be told, i bought the Vespa for Liz, but i couldn't resist a test run.

    Did I miss sumthang? I thought you already was one of dose euro-trash types. :)

    Best I ever saw was in the old part of Rome. Dude comes barrelling down the street wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and those floppy tennis shoes they all wear. He was smoking a cig, drinking a cup of java, and talking on the cell, all while weaving in and out of traffic. No one blinked an eyelash.

    I do like your priorities, though. Start with Il Mostro, then a Gooch, THEN a Vespa! Nothing exceeds like excess.
