Right, you have got me drooling with anticipation now, when is Batlefield 2 out (in UK). I dont play BF1942 any more due to me missing about 100 patches, whenever I dial up every game is almost unavailable. I think that is one of the benefits of steam (CS), as everytime you play you automatically receive all the downloads before you play.
We played Halflife multiplayer, Day of the feet (day of defeat) in the office on the network for about 12 months plus. I ended up playing the single player halflife. Then Medal of Honour and lastly Call of Duty. Played HL & DOD on the interweb a couple of times but I was absolutley crap compared to these people. It takes over your life.. hence HalfLife Not played for over 12 months now, keep thinking about going back to it, however every spare moment I end up on Fchat now
No one plays BHD? I've played Call to Duty and Day of Defeat and didn't like them. I've got to get teamspeak
Battlefield should be out sometime mid year. Expect a demo in June/July. The hot-patch system your referring to there. Yeah, its all good in theory, but when a game needs ALOT of patches constantly (Eg. World of Warcraft), it does get annoying. Especially when the min size of a patch seems to be 30mb...
