    I've owned a few sports cars in the past with convertible tops, & none of them were quiet inside the car due to the poor seal of the top to the car's body. Trying to decide on spider vs. coupe. Any comments on the difference in interior noise between the two? Thanks for any input.

    if you want quiet on the inside....go buy a lexus

    Ferrari's are not silent on the inside, aluminum bodies, low ride height, wide performance tires all don't make for a quiet ride.....

    Plus you want to hear the glorious exhaust note...

    That being said, its quieter than my Viper ACR or Corvette Z06......however thats not saying much....

    No cloth top convertible will be as quite as a coupe. Additionally, no convertible will have the rigidity of a coupe. Also, consider the top’s maintenance. Convertible tops could get quite costly if they break.

    Owned 3 coupes 1 spider, coupe wns, at least for me.

    It depends entirely upon your prevailing climate.

    If you have a lot of sunshine most of the year, then you will miss not having a ragtop.

    Agreed.

    I have a spider. I don't notice any more noise than with the last Porsche cab I had.

    get a spider all the way.

    Why? Because a spider can do 99% of what a coupe can but a coupe can never pop it's top on a sunny day.

    The only real draw back is the increase in price to buy one.
