I have seen a couple of nice 360's in Grigio Ingrid and Fiorano. Will these colours have lower resale value than the standards?

Also, one dealer told me to avoid racing seats as they detract $5-10k from resale value.

Wow, these must be really stupid questions to not get a single response. My apologies for treading on your hallowed ground here.

You might wait a little longer before you resort to sarcasm. I doubt the colours will have a big effect but I have heard the same claims regarding the seats.

The weekends are usually a bit slow here.

However, your impatience is a bit annoying, especially for a newbie. Why do you believe we are under any kind of deadline to answer your questions?

How big of an issue do you believe 5K seats are on a $150K+ car? If you want racing seats, buy them. If not, don't.

As far as the colors, if they are original, I see no problems. It's not like these colors are lime-green or highway-cone orange. If you're concerned about selling the car, buy a red one and forget about it.

Now, how about an apology for being an impatient troll?

Thanks for the input. I am not implying that anyone is under a "deadline". This is chat board and you are free to respond or not.. and I am free to make a comment if I choose as long it is within reasonable guidelines. I thought a troll was someone who trys to start trouble on a chat board. I was just trying get some input from those who have much more experience with Ferraris than I do.

This topic can probably pass for Ferrari Discussion as it's not model specific, however, you might get more responses from all the 360 owners that hang out in Modern. Let me know and I can move it to Modern if you want.

IMHO, a factory option racing seat would be a bonus. Anything that makes it unique from other 360's. However, an aftermarket seat would take value away, but you should keep the original seats to avoid that problem down the road.

IMHO2, resale red for Ferraris impacts the older classic and vintage models more. I think demand for uniqueness in the newer models keeps the values about equal for various colors.

I think Grigio Ingrid is one of the ugliest colors around... I've seen Grigio Ingrid cars sit, and I've watched the asking prices fall. I'd pay about $15-$20K less for a 360 in that color. Sorry Ingrid people, but I think most would agree that that's NOT one of the "hip" colors for a 360!

As far as Rosso Fiorano, that's less popular than Rosso Corsa; it's still red, but not the "right" red in my opinion. I'd pay about 10K less.

I think it might be a little harder to sell a car with racing seats. But there is always that nutjob who is looking for racing seats. I don't think it should hurt the value of the car. If it turns out that it does, you can always take the seats out, sell them on Ebay or to any parts broker, and stick in a pair of stock seats. Don't worry about that.

Hey, let's lay off the original poster. None of us (except the owner) owns this board. I don't care how many posts you've had or how much you consider yourself better just because you're on this board several hours a day. New people have just as much of a right to speak as anyone else, and no "veterans" on this board should be intimidating new people. Sarcasm is sarcasm; it's not hatred or hostility.

The truth is that new people on this board are often met with hostility... they're told to "do a search" before asking questions, or they're hazed in some other way. And it's true: often times new people DON'T get any responses at all because they're not "known."

I called the poster impatient and sarcastic. He responded with a PM using language I don't use on my dog.
veterans and newbies hould both ease up. Myself included.

Racing seats would detract to me, but I have no desire to race.

Wow, you must have a sensitive dog. I have said the same things to friends when I thought they were being uptight. I do apologize to the more sensitive boarders out there who took my sarcasm in offense. Thanks everyone for the thoughtful input.

Your first posts were a little rude and not typically the best way to introduce yourself to the community, but nothing to burn you at the stake, yet. ;)

In the long run users typically get treated the way they deserve. In other words, it's up to you how you get along.

I love the internet!! The banter of stupid comments and obnoxious remarks is much more entertaining than the actual substantive content of any of the messages. Please, don't stop. Keep it up! How about a come-back to some of these attacks on your right to exist, johnny-boy?? More "death to the traitor" comments to be posted?

Seriously guys, lighten up. We're here to have fun. He said he was a newbie. He's entitled to one mistake before you start chopping his head off.

    Hi Steve,

Pardon the crudity of this expression, but there's definitely an as$ for every seat!

The 360 is a beautiful car and woud look good if painted in the color of vomit.

That said, there is definitely a reason why the number of Grigio Ingrid 360s produced comprises a miniscule percentage of total 360 production.

That's what I meant and I don't mean to offend anyone who likes the color. It's good to be different.

I do like the two colours too which is why I am asking. The Fioriano looks much more red vs burgundy in this picture than what I recall.

I agree. The sun can really change a color. I've seen Rosso Fiorano in person and it looks dark most of the time.

I agree with what you say Dave but vomit come on ;).

Rosso fiorano is affected by lighting as you can tell in this photo.

I have never been a big fan of the 360 in lighter colors, but I have seen many of them come and go from my local dealer, without anyone saying it is worth less in this color. As for racing seats, I have heard this from many dealers that they make to car less valued, I would say only to someone who does not want racing seats. There almost always seems to be some question in regards to what a car is going to be worth.

IMHO Well drive the piss out of it as many miles as you can, that's what is was built for. If your worried about resale value buy a used Honda. These cars are to be enjoyed and the only way to do that is to drive them. If you just want to look at it buy a poster.

What the f*** about colors. I took mine in black. Can't go wrong. If you want to venture, more power. But may never be “classic”. Then again, are you buying one???
