Did you do the full shift linkage adjustment? Fairly common to have to readjust the shift linkage after a major service.
GOOD AFTERNOON! HELLO PETE! BECAUSE IT IS FRIEND, MUST BE SOMETHING RELATED TO ANY TYPE SETTING! BUT I AM NOT KNOWING COME TO DO! YOU COULD GIVE AN IDEA HOW TO! THANK YOU!
First you have to figure out where the problem is located. I would suggest disconnecting the shift cables where they attach to the transmission. Do the gear lever and cables move easily? If so, see if you can move the transmission linkage that the cables attach to forward and backward. That's not so easy to do, but usually you should be able to get it to budge. If both of those work, hook them back together again and see what happens. Double check the moustache shaped clamp that locks the ends of the cable housing to make sure it's sitting in the correct groove.
