    I need to get to the courtesy light switch wiring on the inside of the door opening. It seems that the fiberglass tub completely surrounds the back of the switch. I never noticed that the rubber around the switch is missing so I need to get a new one. I cannot find where to get one. maybe I am not calling it the right name?

    Are you talking about the black cap that goes over the switch?

    I don't think you can buy that cap separately, you'd have to buy the whole switch, which is unavailable at Ricambi.

    On my car, neither the driver nor passenger door switch has that cap.

    As far as getting access, you will probably have to remove the wheel well liner.

    I removed everything. I think the only way you can get to it is underneath, the only place I did not look. Thank for the pic, it tells me what I need to know. 20 year old plastic does not bend very well!!! It looks like you depress the tabs and it comes out from the outside--
