Damn Jerry Jones again. The coach and general manager are the ones that should make personnel decisions, and the owner should NEVER be either. Can't stand that SOB.

Couldn't agree with you more. We bring in a disruption like TO, and release a class act like LA. Unreal.

I was at the game when TO played w/ the 49'ers and disrespected the place. I'll never forget it. He's not welcome here.

Larry Allen's been coasting for years, and just costs too much to keep around. He was great in the past, but it's time for new talent. As much as I hate 'plastic face' Jones, he's right on this decision.

    Amen brother.

Been a huge cowboys fan since 5 years old and as much as I love L.A., he is past his prime and is costing the team too much $ to keep around. It was a business decision that made obvious sense and unfortunately, we as fans rely in our hearts too much. Time for some new talent to take over that spot.

T.O.? Well, let me just say, I absolutely LOVE IT! that he's a COWBOY. Don't get me wrong here, I hated him for what he did to the star and hated him in Philly but, you can't argue about his talent and since he's a "star amongst stars", let by gone's be by gone's. Once again, take the emotional factor out of it and think just for one mi-nute second. They double team Owens, you have Witten, Glenn, Crayton and Julius Jones to account for and you don't think one of these guys are going to be open? How many COWBOY fans are going to start *****ing IF we are able to finally put it together and go to the promise land? Oh, and please, save me the "oh!, he's a cancer, he'll disrupt the locker room", excuse. If we can go to the superbowl with that kind of baggage, I'll take that ALL DAY LONG.

It's sad to see LA gone from Cowboys, but like Tillman & Abraham, says, it's an inevitable situation. He's costing too much to keep. I wonder Cowboys ever offered pay cut to keep LA here.

I saw the game against 49ers where TO celebrated on the star of the field. There's an irony that he now is the member of a team once he humiliated. I don't really have any opinion on him, but sure hope he'll contribute greatly to the team. It's about the time Cowboys earn at least a win in play-off series.

Its not so much the fact they're letting LA go, but it was JJ's involvement not only in the process but the announcement that sticks in my craw.

He's under contract, so they can't cut his pay. They did say that they would be willing bring him back if some other team didn't pick him up, but under a new, lower cost contract
