    Now WINNING 24 to the Pat's 21.

but would someone PLEASE tell Tony Romo to turn his freekin hat around when he's on the sideline, that went out of style 10 years ago.

EDIT: Darn those Patriots are a tough team.... they just are a touchdown machine! :(

Nope. Pats won. Cowboys lost. Take it like a man.

The Cowboys looked pretty good most of the game (aside from all the penalties), but they have a ways to go before they are in the same league as the Patriots. Looks like Romo will have to wait another week for Canton.

The Patriots completely outclassed the Cowboys (who were not as good as their record indicated).

The Cowboys actually looked surprisingly good, I figured they would lose but I didn't think they would even keep it close for a half. On the other side, the Patriots are scary good, like going undefeated without even really trying good. If they beat the Colts there really isn't anyone else who can even come close to stopping them.

+1. That showing by Brady was just plain awesome. Give credit where credit's due ferraridude, That is the difference between Romo and Brady. By watching this game, you can honestly tell Brady and Romo are on different levels.

Nice game by the Cowboys, just didnt have enough fire power in the end, they were just overmatched.

New England looked great, as you said, if the Colts cant stop them, i dont think anyone will.

Overall great game, New England is just a better team.

Exactly, but the Cowboys showed they are by far the class of the NFC, especially the way the Skins and Packers looked today...

Oh yea, of course. The Cowboys have a great chance out of the NFC. I honestly wouldnt be shocked to see them make it to the SuperBowl. They're gonna get better as the year goes on. I dont agree with someone's post that they will lose the next 3 out of 5 games or go on a slump, im pretty sure this will be a great year for them compared to the last few.

Well I figured it'd be a 14 point Pat's win......I was wrong, they beat them like a red headed step child.

All the talk about Romo being so great is BS, as I said before, give him 3 years and lets see some consistancy and then maybe we can talk about him being great.

He's really looked like crap the last two games.

+1, the best game of the year will be the AFC playoff between the Pats and Colts.

Anytime the Pats and Colts meet up is typically the best game of the year. Too bad things weren't different and we could watch them in the Superbowl against each other.

I believe they play Nov. 4 at Indy.

Someone should start a Colts and Pats thread?

Not to beat a dead horse (or Cowboy as the case may be), but what quantifies Romo as one of the best QB's in the NFL?

That can't be answered in words, you have to watch him to see his greatness. I saw better play coming from Romo yesterday than Brady.

You didn't read what I asked. You want to qualify Romo, but you can't quantify him. QB's like Brady and Manning can be quantified because they have the stats to back up their hype. They don't need people to put it into words because their numbers speak for themselves.

If you use statistics to define a person's ability you are missing out on something. Plus statistics can be deceiving, Brett Favre has the all-time TD record and he might not even be the best QB in Packers history.

Hmmmm...I saw it a different way. I saw Brady playing a lot better than Romo. Non-statistical reasoning. 3rd and 7, Brady throws, 1st down. 3rd and 12, Brady touchdown. 3rd and blablabl. Brady was just on. And you'll probably say, its his receivers that make him look good. You got to look at that game overs, cause im pretty sure Brady put on a better performance than Romo. You saw football at its finest yesterday by the Patriots. Im a Cowboys fan, but ya got to give credit where credits due.

I also saw Brady make some $hitty throws, something that a QB of his supposed calibar isn't supposed to making, they were Eli Manning-esque. The Cowboys blew coverage on a couple plays, leading to easy throws by Brady. I didn't see Brady make a single difficult throw at any point in the game, where I saw Romo make plenty. I saw Romo make better decisions when pressured (he has a lot of practice :D), I didn't see that in Brady. Though the stats don't back me up, I still saw a better player in Romo yesterday than in Brady, honestly.

There is not a single quarterback in the NFL that is perfect. Brady made some great throws, accurate throws. A great quaterback knows where the weak spots are at on the field. The Cowboys blew coverage as you said, and he capitalized on that. I think your speaking from a very biased standpoint. If Romo played better than Brady, he should have carried the Cowboys as you said in your previous post's that he's done in the past. I just saw a tight game and then the Cowboys folded in the end. The team with the best quarterback won.

Ok, Im done arguing. The Cowboys D played great on 1st and 2nd down, but blew it on 3rd. Brady capitalized on these 3rd down blown coverages, gaps, etc etc and made some easy throws. When the Cowboys brought pressure, there was a mismatch down field, when they didn't Brady had 6 years in the pocket.
Eventually, in the 2nd quarter the Cowboys started clicking and made some great plays, played good D and brought it close at half time.
3rd quarter started pretty good for the Cowboys, and was going well until some "questionable" flags started flying in. It seemed that whenever the C-Boys got a 1st down or made a good play, the yellow flag was on the ground for holding, illegal shift (BS call), pass interference, neutral zone infraction (BS call) etc etc. Some of those calls didn't need to be made, as they had little effect on the outcome of the play, it seemed some of the flags were thrown to just hurt the Cowboys.
So at this point, when the 'Boys D had been on the field for 60+ plays, Brady took his time and put up some points. Romo could have done the same, but he was taking a break on the bench for an hour, while the defense couldn't stop anybody.

Thats it, I'm done. The Cowboys D got outplayed/outworked and Brady put up some impressive numbers, still Romo put up a more impressive performance and kept his team in the game.

Haha...its not arguing. Its a conversation about football. ;). Dont worry Dallas will be there in the end if they dont be like the old cowboys these past years.
