Go in the back way. Take Blue Mound Rd/156 north from 820 to 114 then go east.

You can probably also take Main St. through Saginaw and bypass the 35/820 parking lot.

It shows clear until the late afternoon or evening. Park in the diamond lot near the speedway club, it should be easy to find.

Maybe I was simply too late to see the good stuff, but here's the review: Mustnags and Fiats, and a Superbird.

There was a lot of Mustangs there today. But the weather threatened the turnout. Not sure if I like the location...it's just too far plus I have to go through hell to get there (35W).

Turnout was weak but a lot had to do with the threat of rain & the further new location. I made the mistake of taking I35W out there & the traffic was bad due to construction & lots of slow semis that refuse to get out of the left lane. When I arrived I got there around 7:45am. No food trucks for some odd reason so I just opted for something in Justin at Sonic when I left. The parking lot photo I took was at exactly 8am. It filled up some more but rally not by much, lots of people coming in then leaving with various drivers performing small exhibitions of speed when leaving the lot.

As Tillman stated, it was Mustangfest, on the positive note the new Shelby 350R is really impressive. Good share of Corvettes, one Ferrari, some really interesting stuff & one very scary looking Frankenmustang.

I took FM156 on the way back which was slowed up with a dump trucks & loaders not to mention people becoming victims of defective stop signs when trying to get in front of those trucks when leaving their subdivisions. Haslet & Saginaw have grown so much in a short while the roads can't handle this much traffic especially commercial. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back but it's the only large car meet we currently have so you gotta make the best of it.
