    You are only a few hours away closer than driving from Oxnard in traffic! I will pick you up at the airport. Besides then you can pry top secret go fast information out of Tim. I hope MarkPHD shows up and if Professor Goth comes my brain will probably just melt.

    Wish I lived closer. My ancestors would be proud that you still do the Braciola with string, Tim. We have gotten lazy in my family and do it with toothpicks these days. It's just not the same.

    I'm so incredibly thankful to everyone that showed up today to help with my car surgery. It took Vince less than five seconds after getting there to mention the 348's superiority to the lowly 355. Wouldn't have expected less. My sincere thanks to Bruce, Mark, Vince, Karl and especially Tim for the encouraging words and guidance. Tim makes one feel like you're doing him a favor by bringing your broken car to him to repair. I'll post some photos from the session on FCHAT when I get home tomorrow. It's my honor to know you all.

    And no rattles on the way to FASTCARS!

    Just ran a few beads over it for now

    The metal I can honestly say is the worst I ever touched, seems like recycled metal or just a very dirty metal. Typical 90s low grade Euro tubing

    After everyone left Mark, Vince and I compared new OEM 355 frame parts to the old ones and they were night and day different in weight and alloy

    Conclusion, the old metal sucks :)
