Yes but the pistons must be replaced with the pin location being altered to accommodate for the additional stroke.

 

i didn't know there was that possibility, and I'm still a bit skeptical. And at BDC, what will happen?

Not only is that possible but the same can be done with a 360 crank.

 

Does the 3.2 crank need machining like the 3.6 crank?

 

I believe it may be a simpler swap then the 360 which requires a little machining on the end.
