Don't you normally try to copy just one car with a replica? Amd I don't see why they even call it a replica. Other than the Ferrari styled wheels? Looks like a wide body firebird with a fast back and Countach spoiler... Didn't even put the ducts in the hood. But it does have a 1980s reliable high tech American high power engine.lol

the left replica (red) is pretty accurate. Could pass for a real thing.
the right replica (pink) is no so accurate.

Aren't the second and third pictures the very same one that VF1Skullangel adored so much?

    "Very identical" my @$$.

    I never got that.

Some of the Countach "replicas" actually look pretty nice, with reasonably powerful engines sometimes, like Chevy 350s and Cadillac Norstars.

Then they ruin it by leaving it with an automatic transmission.

Frankly, I can't even imagine why Corvettes are sold with automatics.

BTW, anyone else notice where they put the hood badge? :D

The problem here is not with the "replica" but with the idiot trying to sell it. The "replica" pictured is not a replica at all, not was it originally marketed as such.

not a fan of automatics, but it does seem to work nicely in the vette (well, at least in the C6).
Usually my opinion on automatics is that they just never do what you need them to do when they're supposed to be doing it.

Being a fiero owner, I can see why you'd use an auto in a kit based on one (the northstar and LS4 came with autos, so you'd just tranplant the whole drivetrain, plus there aren't a lot of manual transverse options to handle a smallblock).

That is funny...and somewhat cool. Of all the mod'd Civics I've seen that is one of the most tasteful...which isn't saying much though.

The second one based on the Firebird is actually a real car called a Trojan.

It was never meant to be a kitcar. :D

I'm okay with that because it's not really trying to convince anyone that it actually is a Veyron. It's a little bit tongue-in-cheek (remember the old pick up trucks with Mercedes stars?) and satirical rather than fraudulent.

Hee, hee! It isn't even a very attractive modification. Calling it a Testarossa should be a felony.

    Pretty?
    The Testarossa is stunning.
If it weren't nobody would be knocking it off.

    True.

So how does one "knock off" one of the most stunning cars in the world - and come out with something so ugly?
