I like it. Would actually be a fun car to go drag racing. It's a bit like this: Image Unavailable, Please Login

seems no one can make a good carrera gt they all look like boxsters. The diablos aren't bad replicas but there are alot of questionable ones out there
I thought this one was real after a quick glance at the pictures. Then I read what was done. Kinda cool actually. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Real-V12-Lamborghini-Roadster-Replica-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ110012414857QQihZ001QQcategoryZ6290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Amazing Lambo, but at that price some quality can be expected. Same engine as in Chelle's 250 GTO replica.
"top speed: same as original, 170mph" i ask, who here has the balls/missing brain cells to do 170mph in a car built by someone in a hobby shed?
Not that it came from this place, but there are shops out there making replicas I'd be willing to do 170 mph in: http://www.race-car-replicas.com/RCRFACILITY.html Particularly for Lambos there are similar places around that build good solid racing chassis. You might want to rethink the "hobby shed" concept.
Oh man there is a 250 GTO replica down the street from me. It looks like it was built off of a 280 Z. I will go to ake pic eventually.
a-huh. show me one on ebay built properly like that where it's like the rest "has some minor things to finish" and "looks just like the real thing, without the maintenance $$$". i saw about 170mph yesterday and was thinking about what i wanted for lunch, not something i'd feel so calm about in one of these calamitys.

Ive looked through this whole topic (took me the better part of 2 hrs) and the rarecars.org site mentioned in the first post made me realize something. I know the location of the gold carrera GT kit show there! ive seen it in person and it is trash! here is a picture i took of it: http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a117/otis_mister/5-5-06002copy.jpg you can tell by the rims and stuff...
I think replicas are great, I mean when a craftsman puts together something as nice as this all metal ENZO replica that is built on a Pontiac chassis. Its body is built Superleggera-style to save weight. This car was for sale on EBay at one time, the guy was claiming to be able to build any replica car, and was also doing up poorly made Lambos on a Dodge Intrepid as a base. I am sure everyone ready to pay this artist around $20,000 for a replica Enzo like this! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
