I will say it again: grease monkeys, while inebriated, pretending to be designers.

It is so wrong in so many ways, an accident.

Made by an immigrant italian coachbuilder in South Africa with a 275 GTB nose look a like. Sorry, Scaglietti was not involved. It's just a post period re body.

    https://www.secret-classics.com/en/maserati-3500-gt-by-scaglietti/

"All major body parts were imported, having been previously manufactured by Scaglietti."

Not sure that Scaglietti built parts on order for special purpose !

Strange as it is having a Maserati look like a Ferrari, the workmanship of the execution seems to be of a very high level. Too bad all that effort went into trying to mimic a 275 GTB and not towards a unique body style more appropriate to a Maserati.

later converted to different coachwork (claimed by ZAGATO)

1995 surfaced in South Africa, now with carbs.

    2001 with Mr. Vernon-Keels -??/UK, now dark-blue/??

    Very strange car....

    But I have another GaGa-3500GT:
    AM101.1502

1961, grey/white, TOURING-no 9943, on regular 3500GT-chassis with different front- and rear end design. No front bumpers, 4 headlamps in flat grille. Sebring looking wheels. Parts of the interior are from the SEBRING. Strange engine-no. 663!

Triangular rear quarter windows! Mahagoni dash and console!

April 1962 new to Nino Zuccato -Asiago/I

1962 -the car was prepared for the PARIS-show but it is uncertain that the car appeared there!

1962-63 in storage at the factory.

1963 sold by the factory to an Italien racing driver in Padua/I, whos son stored it from 1968-78 (reg.169906 PD).

1978 with Giuliano Cresentini (AUTO DEALERS SUPPLY) -LA.CA./USA imported the car to the USA.

    1979-86 with Larry Oborne -Granada Hills.CA./USA, re-painted red/white,

    1986 with Doug Forlong –Tampa.FL./USA

    1990 for sale asking $43.000, now blue/?
