    Was watching the Russo & Steele Auction in Monterey...a Yellow 1st Prod. Year LP400 Countach w/28km...right hand drive sold for 475k..the car was preported to have been owned by Mr. Warlord himself...Adnan Kashoggi..the arms dealer....is that price NUTS or what???....they were predicting that 150k to 175k....anybody have any opinions???

    The guys on one of the Lamborghini boards might have more informed opinions about that...

    Long discussions about that car on both ********** and lamborghini section on fchat.
    I might be wrong but Adnan Kashoggi's ownership should play little role in the car's price. Its like saying Saddam Hussein's or Bin Laden's car would cost anything extra...

    Exactly my thought.....I was SHOCKED...I mean the car was VERY clean...had the euro bumpers.....no wing in the tail...car looked mint....LOTS of $$$ for that car.....
