So with all the Ferrari owners on this board, I myself drive a Maserati, poor man's Ferrari, we could find someone here who has direct contact with the factory and set up a donation to Ferrari to help with funds for their legal efforts against McLaren... Can you imagine if all the Ferrari fans in the world each sent in 10 bucks??? Ferrari would have billions to persue legal action against McLaren... So anyone here besides myself think this is a workable idea?? Someone here have contacts at Ferrari where we could set up a paypal account and donate???

While I like the intention, I think the Scuderia have plenty of money.

Nobody has enough money.. What they don't spend on legal fee's they could use to build the F2008...

Wait, you bought a car but want to give them more money?! They can handle the legal fee just fine I'm sure.

That's too bad. Have you thought at all what that would mean to the sport?

My love for Ferrari is not such that I am blinded by it, nor do I have anything but respect for ALL the other competitors in F1, McLaren included.

The problem with being so blindly partisan is that you are unable to enjoy racing for what it is. Would you rather have a runaway season for your team, like Ferrari had in 2002 or McLaren in 1988, or would you rather ssee an exciting down-to-the-wire season finish amongst evenly matched competitors, regardless of who they are? I, and most race fans, would choose the latter.

And if some of YOUR money finds its way into Alonso $50 million contract when he joins Ferrari in 08 after Mclaren folds..?
