    Aviation Safety Network often has reports of LearJet/Citation/Gulfstream crashes in South/Central America.

    I know that there are other issues in the region with this type of aircraft but perhaps this explains some of the incidents.

    French militray are usually big offenders when it comes to low flying. They experiment quite a bit while out in deployment in central Africa and Djibouti. I have heard of stories of French Navy F8 Crusaders going back with tarmac traces on their belly. I guess it doesn't go much lower than that

    Not sure I buy that. Props have more instantaneous power which helps perform aerobatic maneuvers. Note that most aerobatic planes are props, many of which perform very low to the ground passes. The amount of propeller that extends below the body of the aircraft (if at all) is generally negligible.

    On the CL44 we couldn't lower a wing (when landing with a crosswind) more than 7 degrees or else a prop would hit.
    On a Baron with (longer) two bladed props, taxing on a rough or unimproved ramp is dangerous as they will get a prop into the ground very easily.
