    Crescent Classic 2007...

This event is brought to you by Rosso Motorsports and the Kansas City chapter of the Ferrari Club of America

The best things in life start with great friends, fast cars and great roads!

A few hints on having a great time with us in 2007!

The fun starts on Thursday, September 13th and ends on Sunday September 16th, 2007 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

You do not have to empty your bank account to enjoy this event; this is about cars, great roads and being with friends...

For the third time, The 1886 Crescent Hotel is the host hotel for our event. (www.crescent-hotel.com)

    Crescent Hotel & Spa , 75 Prospect Ave , Eureka Springs AR 72632 (877) 342-9766

(Please be sure to make your reservations early! Tell them you are with Ferrari Club of America to get our special rates). Due to the popularity of this event, rooms are extremely limited this year, so if you do not already have your reservations do so as soon as possible.

For well over a century visitors have been traveling to this unique Ozark Mountain locale in search of adventure, healing and relaxation.

Since 1886 the legendary Crescent Hotel & Spa has been welcoming guests through its doors offering comfort, elegance and genuine hospitality.

This tradition continues today by providing modern conveniences they have come to expect coupled with the time honored amenities, charm, comfort and services they will always appreciate.

We have a VERY strict dress code during this event! Proper attire for ALL events: Jeans and a casual shirt, NO ties, NO Sport Coats, No Fancy Dresses, No kidding... We are here to relax and have fun, look nice but please be casual! Ladies, comfortable walking shoes are recommended, the sidewalks in Eureka are rugged and steep, you will not be happy in heels!

The temperatures will most likely be mild during the day, usually in the mid-80's and nights are usually cool this time of year with lows in the 60's, so a jacket at night might be a good idea.

It would be a good idea to be prepared to have a great time, we are going to have fun and sometimes we may have to laugh at ourselves or you! We have a few surprises for you!

Be safe, these are great roads taken at any speed, in fact, we chose these roads because they are a challenge regardless of speed! Slow down, obey the traffic laws and enjoy the scenery!

This event is not just for the guys, there are some very nice shops and spa’s in Eureka Springs and some nice art galleries, yes there are a few t-shirt shops, but for the most part, you will be impressed with what you find in Eureka’s shops downtown... On Saturday we have a shopping excursion in Branson’s new $800 million dollar waterfront shopping district. It is gorgeous with great shops and food. (www.bransonlanding.com)

The Crescent Hotel has an excellent spa, THE NEW MOON SPA (www.newmoonspa.com). You should book your spa appointment before you leave for Eureka Springs!

Your cell phone probably will NOT work ANYWHERE once you get to Eureka Springs... I suggest you leave the Crescent Hotels number with your family or office should they want or need to get hold of you...

The roads around Eureka Springs are in very good condition, but this area is not called Little Switzerland for nothing, some streets will be too steep for your Ferrari. Stay on the main streets and you will not have any problems.

Chris is hosting a visit from the Eureka Springs Police Department to introduce them to the participants of Crescent Classic. We will be giving rides to members of law enforcement and perhaps we can arrange for them drive a Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini or a Maserati. The police in this area have been very generous to us in the past and we want to let them know we appreciate their efforts.

I suggest you bring your camera, and if you see something you want to do along the way, feel free to do so.

The destination for Saturday is historic Hollister, Missouri. The roads on the tour are smooth, wide with just the right combination of straights and EXTREMELY tight curve sections. Scott Ashcraft is our Rally Master and he made the most incredible tour guide for you, digital pictures show you the intersections where you need to turn, we also include a map that shows you where you are along the route at each turn and a set of written directions with mileage makers...

When we reach Hollister, a motorcoach will be waiting to escort the ladies to The Branson Landing (www.bransonlanding.com) shopping district on Lake Taneycomo, This is the newest shopping district in Missouri and with over $800 million spent to create this upscale oasis of shops overlooking the lake, it should be a fun afternoon…

For those with a passion for planes and automobiles, we will proceed to a private collection of over 60 cars and 14 airplanes and a huge collection of automobilia and the world’s largest collection of vintage outboard motors! Outboard motors? I asked the same question, but they are really interesting and very unique! This is hosted by Collector Cars International (collectorcars-int.com) and Jim Cox.
