    What size is that plastic ring that holds the mirror from tilting. Also my original Gt4 mirror has the writing on the bottom of the mirror not on the back. But close enough for me!

    The Plastic Ring is 4,5 mm from the glas to the top and 6 mm thick, same like yours on the Pictures, but there is no writing on the side, like there is on those fotos.

    I'm located in Europe, late here already, so you mean the ring around the ball at the base of the arm? It has 20 mm outside and 18 mm inside. More or Less... My Sister is living in U.S., so shipping will be no Problem.

    I took of the plate to see the behind, everything ok. Later i greased screws and plate with Mike Sander's Rust Prevention Grease
    (the best, you can get)
