Cromodora Astro III mirrors

interesting mine is only attached at one side with what looks like what used to be a screw or something. then the metal tension plate slips into a slot on the housing.

 

As it seems and as far as i came while reading through the threads about that mirror, there are at least three different types, the one, you have, the one, i want to sell, and those chinese ones, that would possibly a reproduction series.

 

I would love to know the dimensions of the nylon ring at base. Inner and outer please

 

It has 20 mm outside and 18 mm inside.

Yes thank you. It was approx 1-1/2 + time including traveling for parts. The hard part was the decision to deconstruct it and removing the screw that had no head on it. Tomorrow off to touching up the interior for Geneva concours!! But I’m in FCAParking. I don’t want it judged yet

Before anyone thinks about buying that one, mine (see more upward in this thread) ist also still for sale, I'd sell it for the Half.

 

The Photos of my mirror are of 13.aug. Not to mix up with Absostones wunderfully restored one.

 

refurbished is more the word., but I don't mind patina to an extent!

I only see this right now, funny, exactly one year later, seemed the email announcement didn't work. And to answer, yes, and right now trying to sell it here in Europe. Do you still need one?
