    Jeffrey, not sure I'd leave ALL the tools at home but I like your style! :) I'm hoping to make the run from Vegas to San Antonio (1250 miles) in one LOOOOONG day. Don't know if I can really do that but we'll see. I've done 1000 at a go in my (much, MUCH) younger days but that was in a more comfortable, quiet, and reliable car... a 440/6 1971 Challenger (blueprinted, 12:1 pistons, 4:30 gear, associated cam/exhaust mods, etc. 1/4 mile 11:38 at 131MPH) ;)

    Yes, I'm kidding - it wasn't comfortable or quiet!

    As an experienced 328 traveler... a well sorted car is more than adequate. A laptop, AAA card and a reasonable limit credit card is all you need to feel secure. After several trips and several thousand miles away from home I never needed the AAA card.
