    Hello All 355 owners,
I like to share, not sure if you know this!!!
during the major service I removed the belts tightener support and discover the the zinc coating of the Belt tightener support busing (#34 diagram) was heavily oxidized, inspecting the belt tightener support moving freely is not enough for inspection. highly recommend to replace the right and left side Busing , The new parts does not have longer zinc coating. if the Busing sized then it will disrupt CPL tightener pully and belt hydrohalic tightener function and will lead to engine failure.
In my opinion the Busing must be also address to be replace along with CPL belt tightening pully , Belt hydrohalic tightener, and timing belts,

This is very timely as I prepare to do my service. I did order replacement bushings and its nice to know my paranoia is sometimes right. Thanks!

Clean inside, apply very little high temperature grease on the bushing shaft, apply the correct torque, and recheck free movment.

Assembled "dry" at installation....... After working 40 years in aviation maint and overhaul on helicopters this is why almost every bolt, bushing and close tolerance part is assembled with "cpc" (corrosion preventative coating). I always use an appropriate barrier coating when assembling components.

Your product can be an excellent choice . Here what I see
The belt tightener support has a very slight play movement base on the belts stretch and when engine stroke cycles.
I would guess maybe 2-3 degree.of play. if apply too much grease, then it just sitting there with no full rotation and getting constant heat.
So I did apply very little amount of high temperature light grease on the bushing shaft and made sure no debris of zinc left internally.
In regard to the zinc bushing, ferrari provided one with non zinc polish metal, I am assuming they were aware of this issue and change to non coated bushing.
Regardless zinc bushing is not a good idea to be left in the engine even lubricated.no coated option is lower in risk .
again this is my personal opinion.

last week we had another F355 F1 major service, both belt tightener support were sized due to busing oxidation, belts were not under tension, very close to engine failure.
Now officially I can say the busing must be added to the list under major service, replace them automatically
