    Hi,

I have not posted on the board much but have been a regular reader. Is the Crystal Cove meet a weekly affair.... If yes, I was wondering if I could show and check out the cars and talk to "Ferrari Chatters" there. I personally dont have a ferrari (will be having one at some point) and was hoping that would not be a problem.
Also what time does everybody meet.

    Thanks.
    Kartik

I'm going to try to make it this Saturday! Visiting from the East coast and staying relatively near Newport Beach. Hope I don't scare you guys away with my rental Camry! (Don't worry, I'll park far far far far away.)

Hey Alex, look forward to seeing you there!

Look for a young guy with facial hair pointing a digital camera at Ferraris :)

I'm sure it's been posted before - I have read you guys talk about the ROC being obnoxious and turning people away, etc.

But, I was hoping someone could give a brief explanation of what purpose they are supposed to serve, what they actually do, why they turn people away, etc. Give me ROC at Crystal Cove 101.

Actually Kevin, I just checked my schedule and I have a rehearsal in Fullerton at 9:30. Ill need to leave CC at 8-8:15 at the latest to stop home and pick up my instrument...Id be honored to take pictures of your car for you, as long as you didnt mind leaving the parking area a bit early. The week after next unfortunately Ill be in Europe.

Well, I wouldn't say "unfortunately.." Maybe you will catch some Ferraris in their native habitat?

We'll play it by ear on Sat - if it is sunny then let's give it a try. I am planning to swing by a couple of shops in Costa Mesa after CC so if the weather isn't cooperating then I will just hang in the parking lot. Even a shot or two in the static display would be great!

    Cheers
    Kevin

What's with the pictures Wang? It's a parking lot! (I'm having Caddyshack flashbacks).

In this case, the parking lot will be filled with some nice cars. Hope to cya there!

My spider arrived this morning so I will be coming down to CC - will look for the "big daddy" TR.

    Cheers

LOL - nice eye - I wonder how many people even know what that is....

No 355 in my future, I just liked the pic. :)

I will probably bring the TR on Saturday, I just hope Jeffrey doesn't see it as the car hasn't been washed since the Nixon administration. Look forward to seeing the new blue car on the block.

Hey So Cal gang, I haven't posted in a while as I went up to Cananda and collected my streetrod (see new profile picture for new photo) and I will definitiely be down at Crystal Cove this weekend. I have to find a way to push it out of the garage so as not to wake the neighbourhood as I have to leave veeeerrrrrryyyy early to be in OC by 7:30. I look forward to seeing all the F-chatters there and do believe I owe some people a ride!

    -Jay.

Cool, see you there! I need to spend some serious time detailing it due to many hours in the shop and 1600 miles of travel in a trailer!

Hey Jay, my dad says we might be out of town that weekend. I'll still check, because it is not a set decision. But if we don't end up going, we might be able to get together some other time. But I hope I'll see you Saturday!!
