There are 2 ways to do this...

    1. Take the battery out and bring it to Auto Zone, Checker, etc, and have them match it up. 2. Take it home and put it back in and you are good to go...

Unless you must have an OEM battery with the horsey on it. Then...

    1. go to the dealer, bend over and grab ankles and pay 4X what you will pay in above scenario :D

In all seriousness, batteries are that much different. There are lighter ones available, but I don't think they are worth it.

Interstate makes a battery that will work and goes for around $160, just check on the model number that will match the CS battery, any F-dealer can let you know what will work.

if anybody has the model number (and brands?) of the battery for the cs, i would greatly appreciate it.
mine has been in the shop since last year, and now of course, they get it out and the battery is dead and wont hold a charge, so they are getting ready to charge me a boatload for a new battery. if i can get a new battery and just install it myself it will be a lot less.
    thanks

    Got this from another source...

    1) Interstate MTP-91- a fantastic battery at around $120.00 +/-.
You have to play with the cross bar support just a little to get it to secure the battery. It is supplied with a vent tube which directly connects to the factory vent. make sure you get this when you buy the battery

It's a tremendous battery, however. I have this in my car, and it spins that engine like a rocket.

    2) Odyssey PC-925- It's around $140.00
This is a dry cell battery that weighs only 26 lbs! It saves about 20-23 lbs over the OEM and the Interstate!

    It's also quite a bit smaller measuring 6.64"L X7.05" W X 5.04" H.

When you order you need to indicate that you need the additional posts and that it is right post positive.

    www.odysseybatteries.com

This offers tremendous weight savings, and they last a very long time.

The next change I am going to this one.

Trick question. Yes it does, in fact higher CCA. BUT, total capacity isn't as big so it may not be perfect for cold climates.

Still have my Odyssey and an very happy with it
