You can also try a clothing depiller or fabric shaver. A friend used this and said it worked great.

I've asked, they say its ferrari specific, so can't order 9913 nor 3296 for me

 

That's interesting . I wonder what red is the closest ? I am going to need some red and will definitely need to import it , so keen to see what you are able to source .

 

Heres a picture of the work on my car
A little background . My car is a 360 manual which I tried to convert to "cs" as much as I could. CS front rear bumpers, sides, challenge trunk and carbon doors, etc . I re-did my full interior except the seats, all 24 pieces of the interior.

These guys are the best(to me). They do straight stitching and no wrinkle is there MOTO which is most important in my option. They lined up my dash lines perfectly.

Anyways the shop is called
Rogelio's auto upholstery 15232 arrow hwy Baldwin park.
Not like they work on a whole bunch of Ferraris but they are 3 generations of family owned(really good people) and to me they do really really good work, very reasonable price.

Looks awesome . Interesting lower dash , with CS heater control , but a cubby hole . Clean 512 want's to do the same I think . I made him a complete lower CS dash and molds to convert his standard upper dash to CS door card spec .

That was what I was gonna do but I found you with the cs lower. That is pretty nice its like a 1/2 hybrid cs dash with the glove box.

 

Yes I had to custom make mine to a factory Modena one, this has a working glove box. I was trying to get the whole thing done but it was hard to fit/align it properly as 1 whole piece.
I wish you were making these early then I would have loved to buy one from you. I had to customize my upper dash too and square it out.

Also Rogelios did an awesome job with the stitching going around the dash cluster.

What make and colour red alcantara did you use ? Did the alcantara have a backing ?

 

Hey bud.. I went with color 9052 for the grey by a company called Alcantara, did come with backing, Rogelio's used there own thin foam padding. Red was there only red...I forgot to get the color on that one.

Thanks , yes 9052 seems the grey to use . Wondering who has found the closest red to the unobtanium Ferrari red ?
